As a young, expanding consultancy with a focus on strategic communications, we are looking for one Consultant at our Tokyo office.
Your responsibilities:
- Media analysis and audit
- In-depth market and competition analysis and research
- Creation of internal client and external press material
- Organisation and handling of press and other external events
- Development of excellent relations with various media and key reporters
- Development and implementation of PR and communication strategies
- Independent handling of projects and mandates
- Project and team management
- Support of business development
Your profile:
- You have successfully completed a graduate degree at a Japanese or foreign university
- You have at least 8 years of professional experience including at least 5 years in the field of communications, marketing or PR
- You have explicit financial experience through either working in the financial sector or on financial projects or assignments
- You have worked independently on own projects or other assignments
- You have experience with and an affinity for communication on the internet and for online tools
- You work independently, methodically, extremely thoroughly, and with a sense of responsibility
- You are creative and have the ability to see past established lines of thought in order todevelop individual, innovative approaches to solving problems
- You have highly developed social skills and work well as part of a team
- You are flexible and able to work under pressure
- You have a strong customer and service orientation, are very well mannered and highly motivated
- You are competent and convincing when giving presentations, and you possess eloquence and empathy, particularly when dealing with clients
- You have a sound knowledge of the entire MS Office package (esp. PowerPoint)
- You are highly interested in economic and international matters
- You speak fluent Japanese and English
