Junior Consultant (temporary position, Paris)

As a young, expanding consultancy with a focus on strategic communications, we are looking for a Junior Consultant (temporary position) for the team at our Paris office.
Your responsibilities:
- Helping to develop and implement innovative, client-specific communications strategies
- Market and competition analysis, research
- Cooperating with various media
- Media monitoring and analysis
- Preparing briefings and presentations
- Creation of internal client and external press material
- Organisation and handling of press and other external events
- Development of excellent relations with various media and key reporters
- Independent handling of tasks and projects
- Support of business development
Your profile:
- You have successfully completed a business studies degree with a focus on economics, communications or politics
- You have 3-4 years of experience in the field of communications, marketing or PR
- You have worked independently on own projects or other assignments
- You have experience with and an affinity for communication on the internet and for online tools
- You work independently, methodically, extremely thoroughly, and with a sense of responsibility
- You are creative and have the ability to see past established lines of thought in order to develop individual, innovative approaches to solving problems
- You have highly developed social skills and work well as part of a team
- You are flexible and able to work under pressure
- You have a strong customer and service orientation, are very well mannered and highly motivated
- You are competent and convincing when giving presentations, and you possess eloquence and empathy, particularly when dealing with clients
- You have a sound knowledge of the entire MS Office package (esp. PowerPoint)
- You speak fluent business French and English; a very good command of German would be an asset
