Dr Jens Thiemer

Dr Jens Thiemer is head of CNC's Branding and Marketing Practice.
Prior to joining CNC AG, Jens Thiemer worked in several management positions at DaimlerChrysler AG for nine years. From 2006 onwards he was Head of Global Communication Strategy and Brand Management at Mercedes-Benz. Under his direction a new international agency model as well as the market launch of the latest Mercedes-Benz C-Class (Model Line 204) were established.
In 2004 he became Senior Manager for Brand Profiling Retail, where he was responsible for the implementation of the sales-format strategy of Mercedes Car Group at the Point of Sale. Under his direction the Mercedes-Benz Centres in Cologne, Paris, London, Singapore and Stuttgart were opened.
Between 2002 and 2004 he was Chief of Staff for Strategy, Controlling and Processes for the global communications department of DaimlerChrysler AG.
Jens Thiemer earned a B.A. in Trier, Stirling (Scotland) and Kassel. His Ph.D. focused on innovative branding.
He is a lecturer for Marketing Strategy at the University of Applied Sciences, Nuremberg.
